every time i cringe at my past work and call it sub-par, crappy or stupid, I'm basically abandoning my past self... which means there will come a time where future me will abandon present me. and though i am glad that future me has improved in a way that current me seems mediocre in comparison, i dont want to be abandoned. and i bet past me doesnt want to be abandoned either.
